My turkey drippings were a raspberry color - why and was it safe to use?
Made our turkey in an oil-less infrared fryer. The turkey came out great, but the drippings (almost a full quart) were not only like jello, but a raspberry color. Have made many turkeys in the oven, never had a gelled, redish mess as drippings. Was this safe to use and why was it raspberry colored?
