How can I convert mutation rates into number of infected people?
Yes, the question sound strange. But the fact is that mutation rate, ?, is of often measured in terms of substitutions per nucleotide per cell infection, written as "(s/n/c)".
So if I have a mutation rate of ?=10^4, how can I determine how many mutations has occurred after the virus has passed on to the N'th person?
