What to avoid when writing a big reveal?
So im writing an enemies to lovers book. My two many characters have hated each other for 7 years, they make a dare to see who can hook up with the most people by new years. Slowly they fall in love and blah blah blah... on new years eve he kisses her and she kisses back. However, the girl's best friend is helplessly in love with the boy, so their relationship is a secret. So how can I write a big reveal in a way that doesn't come across as cheesy or out of place, just in general somethings to avoid when writing.
