Difference between blood serum and plasma
I'm not understanding some of the explanations I've seen on the internet:

Put simply, serum is plasma minus the clotting factors and blood cells.

But the plasma doesn't include the blood cells either, right? So is the serum simply the plasma minus the clotting factors?
