How can injection of an antigen cause type 3-hypersensitivity?
I'm confused about how injected antigen (e. g. Penicillin) be introduced to naive T -cells for the first time and activate them so that they can activate B-cells that in turn secrete specific antibodies to the antigen.
Do we have any antigen presenting cell in our blood or is it possible that the antigen can be presented via other pathways?
