Action of PYY vs NPY?
I know that PYY is part of the NPY category (at least I'm fairly confident).
NPY is a potent orexigenic stimulator - increases appetite.
To my knowledge, PYY acts on NPY receptors and yet is an anorexigenic - decreases appetite.
How can this be?
