Which is the best search engine to check if my musical work is original or has semblances to other pieces?
I am trying to see if I could make a new carol song for Christmas celebrations in my school. I am composing it on LMMS, and hence I require some search engine or stuff like that to make sure that the piece is original and of its own kind, and not bearing any resemblance to some previously made work of any other artist. It won't matter to me if the music has only a small similarity to any other piece; I only want to make sure that it is an original piece.

Not the answer you're probably expecting, but other people! Real human beings, and especially other musicians, are usually much better than engines at making connections to existing music. Besides, if you wrote it, it's pretty much always an original piece even with some small accidental similarities. Your fellow musicians will know best what's okay with regard to accidental similarities with existing pieces.
And if for some reason you think it has too much in common with an existing famous piece, you could easily change it up a bit, give it your own spin! There are more ways to change a musical idea than can be counted, and you may find you like it even better done your way.
Also: I am not a lawyer. Just making it clear that this is not legal advice, and don't take my word as counsel. If legal issues are a potentiality, don't take advice from strangers on the internet.
It doesn't exist, however it is being worked on! It can however only be done if you have a piece of sheet music to verify against.
What you are asking for probably does not exist. Even if we were to use AI to judge "similarity" between compositions that does not guarantee that a judge would rule in your favor or against you in a copyright case.
For invention patents there is such a database but you need to review each invention and compare to yours. For music that database would be... iTunes? Who knows. Since musicians want to be paid for their work I am not sure anyone could legally create such a searchable data base, unless the actual work was hidden and an engine generated a report on the tune that are likely similar.
However, I would challenge any report. What does it mean to copy versus be inspired by? There is some subjectivity to this. We reuse riffs all the time. Who owns "The Blues" (other than Duke Ellington)? Some people would say if you want to write a new song just change a few notes of one you know (not saying that right, but it may be legal). I seem to recall "generic" tunes in play along albums would sound very similar to known Jazz standards, with a slight change in Name and melody. There may be something to that.
