Knee pain in coldness and science behind it?
I once heard that our knee cartilage is like a sponge with micro holes. It absorbs lubricant fluid , becomes flexible, and make friction smooth. If in cold, because metabolism and capillary blood circulation becomes slow, so cartilage will become stiff. If walking, it hurts because of lack of flexibility. Even if not walking, it still hurts as a precaution to prevent people from using knee. Is it correct? Is it the science behind knee pain in coldness?
Or it hurts just because lack of blood and oxygen?
