Does Stretching Increase Height?
I am 16 yrs 4 month male. I have a height of 165cm. I know that height growth is limited to the fusion of growth plates and since my parents are also short (165 father and mother around 160), I don't expect to get a mountainous height so I have reduced my aim to around 171-173cm. Is it possible? I have started yoga stretches and muscle building excercises. It's been 5-6 months since I last checked my height at the pediatrician's clinic. At that time it was 164cm. Before that I had grown 9 cm in a year (155 to 164). Now I want to know if the stretches are really worth it.
I will also appreciate if some suggestions regarding dietary plans and effective exercise plans are provided.
P.S: I have grown some good amount of beard for my age. Others say this means stoppage of growth period. Is that true?
