Presentation of LSS / MAMSAS or MMN (asymmetric CIPD variants) in patients with HIV?
I'm having trouble finding any information about occurrence of CIDP variants (specifically asymmetric presentations of CIPD e.g LSS / MAMSAS or MMN (multifocal motor neuropathy) in patients with HIV. What could potentially cause progressive, asymmetric, distal and proximal weakness in the limbs in an HIV patient with onset in the lower limbs? (It seems that MMN and LSS generally starts in the upper limbs..)
