Is a kitten nursing on her mother when she's 8 months old a problem?
I had 5 white cats; a mom and her 4 kittens whom I've witnessed their birth. 2 males and 2 females. 3 kittens got lost, and now we only have one female left. She is almost 8 months old and I've caught her nursing on her mother multple times. Just now, when I was cuddling her while she's inside her box (actually a shoebox), she got up and went to her mommy and nursed. I'm not sure of it but I think either of the mom or her daughter is pregnant; I just can't shake that feeling off my head. I tried pulling her away but she won't budge, and if she did, she would come back again. Is this a bad thing? I don't want to punish my sweet little kitty; I feel like it's cruel so I act as gentle as possible. As a matter of fact, they haven't been separated and I don't think they ever will be. My sweeties. <3 :3
