What would be the simplest options to lend money to a friend for a fixed term? This includes protection to get money back
I have caught in situations during last years when friends borrowed the money and returned them in 2-3 years or even longer time, also with unfinished amount. That required my time to ask for it, track it and caused some other problems (luckily minor ones! - I guess this time...)

Can you recommend some simple platform, app or other 3rd party service to lend money to a friend or a family member for a specific term? Interested in online options.

Let's say I want to lend £1000 and get back this amount in 6 months. If my friend didn't pay this on time, can I get my money back from this 3rd party service? How much approximately it could cost on top of the amount to have this protection in place? They should deal with borrower (without me) in worst case scenario if the amount is not paid on time.

Anything to suggest?
