Best methods to help your dog if he is scared of children?
We have a 5 year old Basset hound with a loving and easy going temperament, however he has had no exposure to children in his life and when approached by young children he gets scared and runs away, this is of course much better than him lashing out!

We are going to become parents in just over 3 weeks, and fear that he may dislike or be scared of the new arrival. Will having a baby in the house improve the dogs attitude towards children if he has every day exposure? and is there any steps we can take to minimize the dog's stress with the new pack member arriving?

Any advice is appreciated!
